IDM works at the intersection of behavioral science and digital product engineering. It was founded by Dr. Nora Althumiri — IDM's CEO and the head of the Stroop platform — and by Dr. Nasser BinDhim, a published digital health researcher who leads its scientific direction. Evidence comes first: game mechanics, scoring, and training claims are grounded in the classic scientific literature — and in the platform's own published aggregate data.
In the classic laboratory version, Stroop responses are timed by hand with a stopwatch. Digitally, every trial is measured to the millisecond: reaction time, accuracy, and the interference cost between conflicting and matching trials are captured automatically, under the same standardized conditions for every player. That turns a lab instrument into a free bilingual cognitive assessment anyone can take in English or Arabic.
Individual results stay private in your account. What the platform publishes is aggregate, anonymized statistics — for example, average Stroop interference measured across more than 25,000 valid trials — so real population patterns stay visible without exposing any individual's data.
